What server maintenance covers
These tasks are handled on our side at no extra charge — they concern the server itself, not what you run on it.
- Operating system installation and reinstallation;
- Server reboot on request;
- Control panel installation with the order: aaPanel, ISPmanager, DirectAdmin, cPanel;
- Access password resets where technically possible;
- RAID array recovery, if one was configured and the data allows it;
- IP-KVM connection when it is not included and the configuration permits;
- Replacement of failed hardware: processor, memory, disks, controller, network card.
What stays on the client side
Everything happening inside the operating system is configured and maintained by the server owner. We make sure the hardware runs, the uplink is available and the system is installed as you chose.
That covers the web server and databases, mail services, DNS, firewall, backups, VPN, SSL certificates and any application software. Full root access gives you the freedom to set the server up however you like — and equally means the setup is your responsibility.
With a control panel installed, most of these tasks take a few clicks in its interface rather than console work.
If you need help
For anything to do with the server itself — access, network, disks, system installation — write to support at any hour: a duty shift is online around the clock.
If you need software configured inside the system, describe the task in your request. We will look at what can be done and point you to a solution or the right direction. Work of that kind is discussed case by case: it depends on what is already installed and what you are trying to achieve.
