How to pick a discounted server

Start with the workload, not the price

A discount does not make a server the right one. Decide what will run on it — a website, a database, a game world or storage — because that determines whether clock speed or core count matters and how many drives you need.

Look at the base configuration

The price on the card is for the base build. Memory, drives and port speed are added at checkout and priced separately, so the final figure can differ noticeably from the first number you see.

Choose the country by your audience

The latency gap between European sites is tens of milliseconds. Invisible for a website, decisive for a game server or a trading bot. Put the machine close to the people who use it.

Leave room on the drives

CPU and memory can be changed later without moving, but adding drives to a full cage is harder. If the data will grow, take a configuration with a free bay from the start.

What to know about discounted plans

Discounted servers are not a separate budget range, nor hardware retired from the main fleet. They are the same machines from the same racks as the rest of the catalogue: same equipment, same uplinks, same support, same delivery. Only the price differs, and it differs where a specific machine has freed up and we would rather have it working than idle.

That is why the list moves: a server goes to a client and leaves the offer, another frees up and appears. If you had your eye on a configuration and it disappeared, the offer has not ended — write to support and we will look at what similar hardware is available and quote it before you place an order.

The key thing about the discount itself: it stays with the server for the whole rental term, not just the first month. A year from now the renewal costs exactly what you pay today. We do not raise the price retroactively or move clients onto a "regular plan" once a promotion ends — the end of a promotion only affects new orders.

Frequently asked questions about the deals

Does the discount only apply to the first month?

No. The discounted price stays with the server for the whole rental term: in six months and in a year the renewal costs the same as the first month. The end of a promotion affects new orders only and never touches servers already rented.

How does a discounted server differ from a regular one?

Only in price. It is the same hardware in the same data centres, with the same uplinks, the same support and the same delivery time. The discount appears where a particular machine has freed up and we would rather rent it out than leave it idle.

Can I change the configuration of a discounted server?

Yes. Memory, drives, port speed, IP count and the operating system are chosen at checkout. The discount applies to the base plan price; additional components are charged at the usual rate and added to the total.

What if the configuration I wanted disappeared from the list?

Write to support and describe what you were looking for. The list is built from free servers and changes daily: a similar machine is often available or about to free up. We will name the configuration and the price before you pay anything.

How can I pay?

By bank card, SEPA or SWIFT transfer, or with cryptocurrency — Bitcoin, USDT and others through CoinPayments. For companies we issue an invoice with documents. Payments are accepted in USD, EUR and UAH.
