Connecting to IP-KVM in the Netherlands

Connecting to IP-KVM from Windows OS

  1. You must have your personal masterserver_nl.ovpn file and the IP address for the IP-KVM (usually you can find this information in the email containing your server access credentials);
  2. Download and install OpenVPN from the following link https://openvpn.net/community-downloads/
  3. After installing the VPN client, right-click on openvpn.exe and select Properties. Then, in the Compatibility tab, check the box "Run this program as an administrator";
  4. Right-click on your personal masterserver_nl.ovpn file, then select Start OpenVPN on this config file;
  5. Make sure the VPN client is running and working;
  6. Wait 5 minutes;
  7. Enter the IP address in your browser to connect to the IP-KVM and allow the connection without an SSL certificate;
  8. After you finish working with the IP-KVM, disconnect the VPN client.

Connecting to IP-KVM from Mac OS

  1. You must have your personal masterserver_nl.ovpn file and the IP address for the IP-KVM (usually you can find this information in the email containing your server access credentials);
  2. Download and install any VPN client of your choice from the following links (https://openvpn.net/vpn-server-resources/connecting-to-access-server-with-macos/ or https://www.sparklabs.com/viscosity/download/ or https://tunnelblick.net/downloads.html);
  3. Import the masterserver_nl.ovpn file we provided into the VPN client;
  4. Make sure the VPN client is running and working;
  5. Wait 5 minutes;
  6. Enter the IP address in your browser to connect to the IP-KVM and allow the connection without an SSL certificate;
  7. After you finish working with the IP-KVM, disconnect the VPN client.
